Joanna Hoffman is one of the original members of Macintosh and NeXT team. She helped write the first draft of Mac’s user interface guidelines. In both 1981 and 1982, she was awarded a satirical award at Apple for being “the person who did the best job of standing up to” Steve Jobs. This can be seen through the movie Steve Jobs, in which Hoffman was portrayed by Kate Winslet for her important contributions at Apple in its earliest days.
