MARCH FOR SCIENCE

Scientists, students, and researchers protested against Donald Trump’s threats of budget cuts. The advocates rallied on Earth Day in order to convey a global message of scientific freedom without political interference and to promote the necessary spending to make future breakthroughs possible.

The March for Science is a celebration of science. It praises and defends science and its integrity. It is not merely about the relationship between scientists and politicians, but rather the role that science has in each of our lives and and the need for us to respect and encourage it. We need to encourage people to appreciate and engage in science, which can only be achieved through education and communication.
